Factoring for Success

Buss & Roth Investment Management is chosen as the deal flow provider to the global receivables funder. Receivables Funding, Export Finance, Purchase Order Finance.

If you would know
the value of money,
go and try to borrow some.

We can, with our partner, fund your current receivables, AFTER a straightforward verification process, often within 24 hours. (
North America, United Kingdom & Germany)

Our factoring partner is represented in North America (USA & Canada), in Europe (UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Poland, Slovakia, Czech, and Sweden), India, Hong Kong, and Australia and our counterparts can help with companies domiciled in their respective countries.

After the initial funding process, future funding is very simple. You submit a schedule with your new invoice plus any supporting documentation. The funds should then be available to you the following day.

For details, please, email LM.bussroth@gmail.com

  1. Are you selling to other companies or to consumers/individuals?  If consumers/individuals, we can’t do it.

  1. What terms do you sell on (i.e. net 30, 60, etc.)?  If net 60 to net 90, we might consider, but if it is over net 90, unless it is for export which might be considered, we can’t do it.

  1. What are your average monthly sales?  If it is under $10k/mo., factoring will probably be too expensive for you.

  1. How much do you have in currently outstanding receivables?  How much of that is over 90 days old?  If the portion over 90 is over 5% of the total, see if you can find out why and if it makes sense.

  1. Do you  invoice on installment or progress billing?  If so, we can’t do it, but may be able to refer it out.

  1. If you are looking for PO funding, will your manufacturer accept a letter of credit?  We do not dispense cash for manufacturing/POs only for factored invoices.

What type of funding facility does your bank offer you?  Is it a loan or a line of credit?

Our partner:  the global receivables funder specializes in accounts receivable and purchase order (on finished goods) funding. The fees are based on the value of the invoicing and are not charged as interest in the traditional sense.

The longest the funds can be out is 90 days on the PO side and 90 days on the receivable side.

Take Control - O Save me the Pain

We have become "soft". We hold our hands out to government and cry aloud "Forgive me, for I have sinned - I have twiddled away my savings and made unintelligent decisions. I have little real-world skills and now I don't know what to do. May I have some money, for I am entitled to it" (This was an original article from 2008 --- sadly, still very...

Hedge Funds as Lenders

Need money to finance your business ? Hedge fund managers have been called plenty of names. Now, they can add another: local banker. When Rentech, a clean energy business in Los Angeles, was rejected by its long-time banker last year, it asked a hedge fund for money instead. “You have to take what’s available at the time,”...

Trading Grains

We've started trading wheat contracts - volatile, volatile, volatile Wheat futures are up more than 75% over the past year and continued higher Friday on concerns that a perfect storm may be brewing. Specifically, a drought in Europe and flooding in the U.S. are crushing this year's crop sending supply expectations considerably lower....

GMR Trader - Getting (re)Started - A New Red Chip

2010 offered up a very good performance with respect to the GMR portfolios and various GMR Trader picks. I know exceedingly well that it is often difficult to maintain a steady hand and not to sell early and therefore miss profits or wait to sell too late, and capture losses. Believe me, I know—but I learned over 10 yrs. :-) The current group of...
